Getting an E-Visa for Vietnam is simple and should take about three business days to process but could take as long as 5. I put in my information into the requesting website on early Monday morning (around 2 am) and received the approval on Thursday morning (so it took 4 days for me).
What you will need:
The date you plan to enter and the date you will exit (the E-Visa is valid for a maximum of 30 days)
Your intended temporary residential address in Vietnam where you will be staying (whatever hotel you've booked is fine - I booked a hotel in Ho Chi Minh City for two days and put that)
Your Passport with at least six months left before expiration
A portrait photo of yourself, (basically a passport photo)
